Hugo - nearing 8 now but still a youngster at heart - won open class.

had his hips x-rayed, his knees checked and his tear production measured. All normal!

We also checked
"Blade" - Mohawk Hair Jordan (4,5 years)
was CERF'ed and the vet discovered some minor changes in his eyes. We decided to do an ERG in the hopes of getting a diagnosis.

Blade had his ERG done today.
He does not have PRA; but the diagnosis is Retinopathy, Retinopathy is a general term that refers to non-inflammatory damage to the retina of the eye.
He will be re-checked in 6 months time, until then he will not be used for breeding.
New Champion

This weekend we traveled across the country, over mountains and through a blizzard to go to Bergen international show.
Blade strutted his stuff and took the CC. He is now Norwegian Champion!
A big thanks to his breeder Vicki Bridle of Mohawk Cresteds in Australia for letting us have this lovely boy.
We are hoping for our first puppies from him this summer!

Pedigrees with health results

We just wanted to show off the lovely Christmas present we got from Orin (Sunstreaker Aristocrat)- made by his mom Maya.
It took some time for the present to arrive, but it was well worth the wait!!

Yesterday we had health checks on some dogs.
Mozilla (22 months):
CERF, Dry eye test, Glaucoma test: Clear/normal
Bah (nearly 3 years):
CERF, Dry eye test, Glaucoma test: Clear/normal
Patellas Normal
We also did a follow-up on our PRA-affected Hugo, and he now has approx. 1/4 vision left- sadly this is a clear deterioration since he got the diagnosis about 7 months ago.
